Outline of final selected events

1)choosing of the Japanese name
Their first names were Kaneyama as it has a meaning behind it and the Japanese will not know it. They had their primer by pointing to the Japanese alphabets and their name will start with that letter.
2)uncle slamming the radio
While listening to the broadcast of the Olympics. The Korean runner had represented Japan and uncle was very furious. He slammed the radio on the floor and left the room.
3)uncle showing the korea flag to Tae-yul and Sun-hee
Uncle was badly injured and drew them the Korean flag.He drew a circle in the middle and Sun-Hee says that it looks like a korean flag.Uncle told her to keep quiet and continue drawing.He explain everything and told both Tae-yul and Sun-hee to bow to the flag.

4)tae-yul becoming a kamikaze
Shinagawa-san wanted tae-yul to be a pilot but was disqualified for poor vision and he starts describing how tough it is for the kamikaze to hit their target.Only the best pilots are choose for these mission.Tae-yul volunteered to be a kamikaze so that his family could have rice ration and other considerations.
